North Devon Wedding Photography
Daisy and Charlie’s wedding took me to North Devon for the first time, an area which, in spite of living in Plymouth for 6 years, I hadn’t ever explored! What a pleasant surprise it was - all winding lanes and high hedgerows, and all this on what must have been the hottest weekend of the year.
Daisy and her bridesmaids were getting ready at the family home near Dolton, which was also where the couple had chosen to hold the wedding reception. And for good reason: Daisy’s parents have created a little slice of heaven in North Devon, with flower gardens, a croquet lawn and a beautiful orchard.

As a garden designer, Daisy has obviously inherited some of her parents’ talents, and so it made perfect sense that she and Charlie chose a relaxed garden wedding ceremony at nearby RHS Rosemoor. The couple couldn’t have chosen a better time of year - the gardens at RHS Rosemoor were in full bloom, a riot of colour and a plant-loving wedding photographer’s dream!
Daisy and Charlie were married in the Winter Garden at RHS Rosemoor (which was looking pretty summery if you ask me), saying their vows under the beautiful rustic shelter while their guests enjoyed the shade of Rosemoor’s many trees.

After the ceremony it was back to Daisy’s parents house for canapes, croquet and a string quartet while I snuck off with Daisy and Charlie to make the most of the late afternoon light in the orchard. As the evening drew in, guests enjoyed a buffet and woodfired pizzas followed by some cricket and dancing!
